This is a traditional Chinese cosmetic brand design. Questioning the contemporary consumer society leads me to build a cosmetic brand based on the concept of sustainable consumption and put aside the commercial context. Cosmetics are the main body of promotion in the general context. I use the name 明镜台 to borrow both its literal meaning as a dressing table with a mirror and its metaphorical concept in a verse that alludes the attitude of throwing away unnecessary desires. The English name Reflet responds to the mirror concept in Chinese name.
The visual identity is designed around the concept of 明镜台; The product container and package design involve the attempt of reducing waste and reusing resources.
